What Is MEDiTHREAD?
MEDiTHREAD is a special type of suture made from a synthetic polymer known as polydioxanone (PDO). The threads are inserted under the skin using a special needle and used to lift the tissue to address sagging.
MEDiTHREADS also help to stimulate the production of essential proteins in the skin like collagen and elastin that help to strengthen and tighten the skin and help it stay elastic. This production lasts for up to six months.

When Will I See the Results of My MEDiTHREAD Treatment?

Production of natural proteins continues up to 6 months until the PDO thread absorption (hydrolysis) is complete.
Recovering from Your MEDiTHREAD Treatment
There will be some bruising and mild swelling around the areas where the threads were inserted. There may also be some soreness. These issues will slowly subside over the next two to six days of recovery. There may be a feeling of tightness around the treated areas for around two weeks. The procedure is safe and there are very few side effects or issues that may occur.
